About Play Guide
Practical party game guides: icebreakers, team games, family and indoor games, outdoor and holiday games, guessing games, couples games and drinking games.
Who this site is for
Hosts, teachers, team leaders and families who want clear rules and ideas for games that work for any group.
How the guides are written
- Answer first. Each guide leads with the direct answer, then explains the why and the how.
- Practical numbers. Concrete values you can use, with ranges rather than false precision.
- Connected, not repeated. Short, focused articles link to the in-depth guide for their topic, so you can go as deep as you need.
- Dated. Every article shows when it was published.
Please note
These guides are general information. Drinking games involve alcohol, so only play if you are of legal drinking age, drink responsibly, never drive after drinking, and never pressure anyone to drink. Choose games that keep every player safe and comfortable.
